Les Miserables BIO

Les Miserables is a Broadway and West End musical that has captivated audiences for over four decades. Based on Victor Hugo's 1862 novel, this iconic production tells the poignant story of Jean Valjean's quest for redemption amidst the backdrop of 19th-century France. With music by Claude-Michel Schönberg and lyrics by Alain Boublil, the musical first premiered in Paris in 1980 and has since become a staple in theatres worldwide, including its celebrated runs on Broadway and in London's West End.

The current touring production, known as Les Miserables – The Touring Production (North American Tour 2023–2025), features an updated staging that honors the original design elements while incorporating modern technology. Audiences can expect to hear beloved songs such as "I Dreamed a Dream", "One Day More", and "Bring Him Home".
